Welcome to Dirty Fusion!

 This site is a playground to develop cool stuff in ColdFusion 9. After using this language for 10 years I still hear non sense about its purpose and limitations therefore I embarked in this endeavor in August of 2009.

The first order of business is to master the ColdBox framework which is chuck full of goodness! Come by and check on my progress from time to time.

I'm Jean, your host on Dirtyfusion.com. Besides loving to program using CFML I am a proud husband and the father of two beautiful little girls.

We recently moved to Albany, New York atfer a 3 year stay in south western Virginia. Prior to that I spent 7 years in the United States Air Force as an enlisted software developer and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. Prior to joining the USAF I had never programmed. Joining the military and working as a contractor all over the country let me enjoy various development environment and learn for very different people.

By day I consult for the State of New York. The rest of my waking hours are spent with my girls (all 3 of them). When I feel like relinquinshing sleep I work on this site so progress can be sporadic :).

I am currently working on my first sports projects. The general theme is college basketball. I want to capture the spirit of the game in a simple yet entertaining coldfusion built application. Soon I will open this page for suggestions, most liely when I release my first draft of the project.
